Myth Buster: “Miniature horses don’t need their teeth floated”
This couldn’t be farther from the truth! Minis have the same number of teeth a standard horse has. Some minis have been bred to have such cute little, small heads that their mouth doesn’t have enough space for their teeth. This causes more chance for crooked or uneven teeth, which definitely requires routine dentistry.
Don’t be fooled- they can easily look chubby but still have a problem with their teeth! I have some special equipment for floating these little guys and I am happy to help your mini.
