The Wisconsin Equine Practitioners teamed up with the UW Veterinary School Equine Club for a 2nd annual “Truck Day”. We enjoyed the heated comfort of the Stock Pavilion on campus while we worked through real life cases as if we had just our vet trucks. This was a taste of what daily life will be like as equine ambulatory veterinarians. The vet students enjoyed the cases I presented, especially since students get a little bit of exposure to spinal manipulation and Chinese medicine in their classes but want to know more! Don’t be surprised if you see some students riding along with me in the future! We have a great group of equine veterinarians getting ready to join our profession!
